A New Era for Beach Break Surf Adventures- The WEBLOG!
So
we're blogging now. First, MySpace (which I deleted my account), then Facebook, Twitter, and, yes, now blogging. I can't believe
it but, I'm doing it. I will try and blog about the most recent happenings with Beach Break Surf Adventure and
all that is around it... and hopefully put my own little twist on it. We want nothing but reports of good conditions and good
times being had by all! If anyone has any comments or concerns about this whole blogging thing please contact me. I want this
to be fun and amusing. Cheers, BBSA

Commitment! Take the drop
I believe that surfing helps people make better decisions. I say this because the act itself, surfing, requires
true commitment which will in turn transfer over into life's many decisions. When one is out in the water surfing, especially
larger and more critical waves, if you don't commit 100% you will regret your decision to take the drop. A wrong decision
surfing critical waves(even not so critical sometimes) can result in a severely bad outcome. Big waves take serious commitment
just like some of life's decisions, and even the smaller waves take commitment or you will not get the most out of the wave.
Surfing is so good for the mind, body, and spirit because of how one must act in such a present, "now", state of
being. For an individual to catch waves he/she must be in harmony with their preparations, equipment, ability, and foremost
the weather and wave conditions at that very moment in time. So as an individual makes decisions during their daily lives,
there must be a harmony to all the factors that go into their decisions. Assess all the factors of a proposed question/dilemma
and make your commitment to go for what you feel is right. There's nothing like making the commitment to go on a wave, screaming
down the face, and coming out on top in the end. It really feels out of this world! So, if you have a decision to make, commit
and go for it, the outcome could be the best decision of your life... or the worst wipeout you've ever experienced! Either
way the ride will never be forgotten.

Here's to our health!
Ok, so I think I had a sinus infection from run-off while out surfing. Yeah, sounds pretty gross to me too. I've
been really concentrating on taking better care of myself, and so now when I do get sick I take extreme notice of it. Our
bodies are one of the, if not the most, complex system on this earth. Our bodies strive to put us in peak form, and mostly
we abuse this, severely. There are many ways to improve our health for the long haul and most of us ignore these key
ways to a longer healthier life. We must eat properly, exercise, and surround ourselves with positive people and atmospheres.
So when disease does enter into our bodies we are able to fight it off and get back to good health more quickly. To
all of us, get out there and start leading a life to good health. The benefits are amazing! As a person you become happier
and more energetic and the people around you will follow. Analyze your diet and living habits and see where your body can
take you. It will take you as far as you would like to go.

And Fall is upon us
Hello all, This is a wonderful time of year to be on the Outer Banks. Waves galore, beautiful weather, not so many
tourists, and as locals we finally get to go out to the restaurants and bars and enjoy them thoroughly. May I suggest a locally
owned business, because the chains just don't cut it. As many of the long time locals and long time visitors know the Outer
Banks has grown, a lot. I'm not criticizing the success of the chain(because they do well), but our local businesses need
our support. Get out there, get some waves, work up an appetite and go to a local restaurant and shop. Support the Outer Banks
community, think about where you eat, sleep, and shop...
