About

I grew up on the Outer Banks of NC, where my love for the ocean started. When I was seven my family moved to Trivandrum, India. Here my dad, a lifelong surfer, pushed me into my first wave. We moved back to the Outer Banks a few years later, where I continued surfing and growing my love for the sport. I came to Wilmington to go to UNCW and have been living (and surfing) in the area ever since.

Before starting Beach Break, I was always teaching friends, family, and anyone else who wanted to learn to surf. It brings me so much joy to watch others develop the same passion for surfing that I have, and to be there for every step of the process. I started Beach Break Surf to be able to share the joy of surfing with an even broader community. 

Whether you've never set foot on a board or you're looking to level up your skills, I'd love to take you out in the water. We'll find the right waves for where you're at, have a lot of fun doing it, and I'll be with you every step of the way. Wilmington has some of the most welcoming waves on the East Coast, and I can't wait to share them with you. Come find me in the lineup!
